Barnes Family Funerals - Hester Rinck

Hester Louise Rinck, age 93 of Ozark, Missouri gained her well-deserved angel wings Wednesday, September 21, 2016. She was born to her beloved parents, Tom and Stella (Lewis) Vaughn on June 26, 1923. During her 93 years Hester wore many hats, including artist, baker, cook, painter, gardener, sister and aunt. Her most cherished titles were wife, mother and grandmother. Hester loved her family the only way she knew how, fiercely. She was united in marriage to the love of her life Harold Rinck, and blessed the world with a large family. Hester was known for her sense of humor, her famous Mickey-mouse pancakes, her heart of gold and other qualities that made her a woman many people hold in the highest regard. Of all her wonderful attributes, her will of life, tenacity, stubbornness and love of her ways has always shown through even on the most painful days. Hester was the definition of an Angel and possessed all the good qualities that Jesus could instill in one person. She leaves a legacy of perseverance, hope, kindness, love and most of all family. This world and our family has suffered a loss that will be remembered for years to come and beyond. Hester is survived by three children; Wilda Lawson and husband Wayne of Ozark, Margie Williams and husband Butch of Clever, Jerri Mehl and husband Joe of Billings and son-in-law Gary Jenks; 25 grandchildren, 42 great-grandchildren and 16 great-great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, daughter Faye Jenks and son Bill Rinck, her sisters Ruth Rooney and Nancy Carr, her brothers John and Jesse Vaughn, a grandson and two great-grandchildren. The family suggests that any memorials be made to the American Cancer Society. Funeral services for Hester will be 2:00 P.M., Saturday, September 24, 2016 in Barnes Family Funeral Home with Dale Roller officiating burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery.
