I’ve known Andy since I was about twelve years old. Grew up together on Haden Street in Independence. So glad my husband and I were able to hear Andy and Brenda perform several times in recent years. I cherish the memories of growing up across the street from the Coin’s. A wonderful family. Sending prayers and loving thoughts to you, Brenda, and all of your family.

WOW I can’t believe this has happened!. I have known Andy over 40 yesrs, and can still remember the first time I saw him. He was such a sweet person but straight forward. His grandfather and grandmother were my grandparents it seemed like. They always had a surprise for me every time I seen them. Even when I was older I would drive to Purdy to see them. I have had the privilege of knowing the Sims and Coins for many years. Brenda, Troy, Jessie, Sue,Linda, & The rest of the family you are in my thoughts and prayers. I wish I could be setting in the circle of the wonderful Jubilee with this family of Angels!! My how wonderful that would be. I have heard Lark, Jo, Andy & Tom all sing together many years ago. Rest in Pease my friend. See you on the other side.

We just heard the news today. Such a shocker! We haven’t known you guys long, but were sure looking forward to seeing you again at the Mustang Lounge and had planned on heading towards McAllen to see you down there this year, too. We’re so sorry for your loss and will miss his rendition of “Statue of a Fool”! Our thoughts and prayers are with you all.
