Sherie Jolene Burk October 23, 1958 - September 29, 2019

Sherie Jolene (Tennis) Burk, age 60 of Sparta, Missouri passed away Sunday, September 29, 2019. She was born October 23, 1958 in Springfield, Missouri, the daughter of Joe and Lovida (Danderson) Tennis. Sherie graduated from Spokane High School in 1976.

During 2014, Sherie took a medical retirement due to her failing health and her last place of employment was Bass Pro Warehouse. She was a fun loving person who always enjoyed a good laugh. Sherie enjoyed her many friends and hanging out with the ladies at Sparta Senior Citizens Housing. She always made time for her family and especially enjoyed her nieces and nephews. Sherie was baptized as a believer and was a member of Mentor Baptist Church of Rogersville but most recently she attended Union Hill Baptist of Oldfield. Sherie was a wonderful sister, niece, aunt and friend to many and will be dearly missed by her loving family.

Sherie is survived by her brother Joey Tennis and wife Joyce of Crane, Missouri; her son Dustin J. Tennis; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and other caring relatives. Sherie was preceded in death by her parents.

Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 3, 2019 in Highlandville Cemetery with Pastor Bally Johnson officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, October 2, 2019 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
