Janice E Mack, age 93 and a resident of Ozark, MO passed away Monday, October 10, 2016. Janice was born May 8, 1923 in Kenosha, WI to Edward and Catherine (McCaustland) Wasrick. She grew up in Kenosha and then moved to Southern California where she spent many years making many friends. Later, she returned to Kenosha for a few years and then moved to Ozark, where she spent her final years with family. She was a beloved Mother, Grandmother, Great- Grandmother and Great- Great- Grandmother. Janice made the world a much brighter place with her extreme love for family and friends. She always thought of others before herself. During the holidays, Janice selflessly invited traveling military from the train station so they were not alone and made them feel like family. She loved collecting Disney items, especially Mickey and Minnie Mouse and she had an enormous collection. She loved baseball, and favored the Chicago Cubs, the California Angels and WWE wrestling, especially Hacksaw Jim Duggan. Janice loved sewing stuffed animals and toys which she called her Cloth Zoo. And she never met a Peep marshmallow chick that she wouldn’t take the time to enjoy. Janice is survived by her sister Doris Delap of Kenosha, WI; daughters Cheryl Lawver and Sue (Bill) Ramos all of Ozark; sons Kurt of Palm Springs, CA; Daryl of Ozark and Brian (Colleen) of Ozark; 15 Grandchildren, 28 Great -Grandchildren and 2 Great- Great- Grandchildren. She is also survived by many other members in the family tree of nieces, nephews, cousins, and many many friends made over the years. Preceding Janice in death were her parents Edward and Catherine Wasrick, sisters Crystal and Marilyn, brother Melvin, sons Keith and Kerry Mack and grandson Christopher Mack. She will be truly missed by all and will always be in our memories. No services are planned, cremation under the care of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
