Andrew Cole Iorg, age 19 of Bruner, Missouri passed away early Saturday morning, October 15, 2016. He was born January 28, 1997 the son of Andy and Randi Iorg. Cole was a kind and gentle young man with a winning personality. He was well-known for big bear hugs, his beautiful smile and his bigger than life heart. During his free time, Cole was an outdoorsman and especially delighted in spending time at the cabin with his family and friends. Cole also enjoyed playing the guitar and was fond of singing loudly. It was Cole’s lifelong dream to be a third generation fireman with the Springfield Fire Department and he was presently in training with the Sparta Fire Department. Cole loved to help others and by doing so his last final act of love was organ donation so others can benefit from his generosity. In addition to his parents, Cole is survived by his brother Billy Iorg; paternal grandparents Allen and Sue Iorg; maternal grandmother Terri Shanks; several special aunts, uncles, cousins, many friends and a large extended caring family. Cole was preceded in death by maternal grandfather Billy Inmon. The family has requested donations to Fair Haven Children’s Home, 3132 N. Fair Haven Loop, Strafford, MO 65757 or Camp Barnabas “Haven For Young Burn Victims Program”, PO Box 3200, Springfield, MO 65808. Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Thursday, October 20, 2016 in Sparta High School with Ted Spencer officiating. Burial will follow in Bruner Cemetery. Visitation will be 5:00 to 7:00 PM Wednesday evening in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
