    Dear Hall family,
I went to high school in Ava, with Jerry.
We graduated in 1953 and I saw Jerry at our
    60th reunion on May 4th, 2013. I had a good
visit and Jerry seemed well and happy. I was
shocked to learn a few weeks later of his illness. Jerry loved farming, so I never had any
classes with him, but he was always kind and
friendly. I know you will miss him and I send
sincere sympathy to Laverne and all the family.
    God bless all of you.

There are a few people you get to know that stay with you forever. Pappy was one of those very special people. A great man. I feel for your loss as does anyone who ever knew Pappy. I wish there were words that would ease the pain. You’re all in my prayers.
