John Fray Hull, age 85 of Bruner, Missouri, went to his eternal home with Jesus, Thursday morning, July 18, 2024. John was born February 25, 1939, in Bruner Missouri, to Violet and Otie Hull. On August 18, 1959, John was united in marriage to his sweetheart, Marjorie Stockstill of Pleasant View, Missouri. During their marriage they were blessed with four children; Cathy, Mike, Jan and Troy. John and Marjie were blessed to celebrate 64 years of marriage prior to Marjie passing away, April 12, 2024.
John was a Manufacture worker, who worked hard and did whatever it took to provide for his family. He spent many years in hayfields and the woods. John loved the outdoors where he went camping, fishing, and hunting. He cherished the moments he spent mushroom hunting with his sweetheart, Marjie.
During his younger years, John enjoyed playing basketball and baseball. He relived those years through his children and grandchildren. He was also a St Louis Cardinals fan although they disappointed him many times.
John will be remembered for his competitive spirit and the love that he had for his family. John will be sadly missed, but his loving memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family.
John is survived by his four children; Cathy Maggard and husband Alan of Sparta, Michael Hull of Rogersville, Janice Lewis and husband Ernest of Ava, Troy Hull and wife Jona of Chadwick, his sister Huba Winslow of Oldfield, nine grandchildren; Melanie, Callie, Jessica, Brent, Paig, Cassie, Deacoda, Shawnee and Kellsey; 29 great-grandchildren. John was preceded in death by his sweetheart, Marjie, his parents Otie and Violet, his siblings; Arthur, Marie, Joyce, Kate, Mabel, Fern, Wade, Kenneth and Sue, his daughter-in-law, Daphnie Hull, and one great-grand-baby, John Paul.
Funeral services for John will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 24, 2024, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. A burial will follow in Bruner Cemetery, Bruner Missouri.
