John Ray McHaffie June 4, 1962 - November 11, 2015

John Ray McHaffie, age 53 of Ozark, passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2015 in his home. He was born June 4, 1962 in Springfield, MO to Reggie Ray McHaffie and Wilda Mae (Rinck) Lawson. John attended school in Ozark and was a brick-layer, construction worker and jack of all trades during his life. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying camping, hunting and fishing. He especially enjoyed his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter Charity Lynn McHaffie of Springfield; his mother Wilda Mae (Rinck) Lawson and husband Wayne of Ozark; father Reggie Ray McHaffie and wife Viola of Springfield; sister Debbie King and husband Allen of Springfield; sister Shirley Posey of Springfield; four grandchildren Briawnna McHaffie, Maddox Breedlove, Aireal McHaffie, and Gracee Lynn McHaffie; great-grandmother Hester Rinck of Ozark, and other caring relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his son Joel Ray McHaffie; grandparents Harold Martin Rinck, Lawrence “Holly” McHaffie, and Margaret Louisa McHaffie.Celebration of Life Memorial Services will be at 7:00P.M. Monday, November 16, 2015 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with Pastor J.R. Rantz officiating. Visitation will be 6:00P.M. to 7:00P.M. in the funeral home.
