Kathleen Ann (née Giannattasio) Brown Latham, age 83, passed away Tuesday, May 27, 2025, in James River Nursing and Rehab, Springfield, Missouri. Kathleen was born August 9, 1941, the daughter of Samuel R. (Giannattasio) Brown and Helen Martone (Giannattasio) Brown, in Fall River, Massachusetts.
Kathleen graduated from Ursuline High School in Youngstown, Ohio in 1959 and Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio with a B.A. degree in Business & Marketing in 1963. On October 9, 1963, she was united in marriage to Lawrence Dale Latham in Youngstown, Ohio, divorcing in 1982 in Orange County, California. They had two daughters together, Jennifer Sue Latham Jenkins of Spokane, Missouri and Andrea Jean Latham of Richmond, California, both of whom survive Ms. Latham. She is also survived by six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren, as well as her brother Samuel R Brown of Avon Lake, Ohio.
Kathleen was known professionally by many as “Max” Latham. She achieved success in her career in Southern California, working as a business consultant, speaker, & trainer both for Fortune 500 companies and as an entrepreneur and CEO of her two companies, K. Latham & Associates and Women Going Places. Kathleen was passionate about foreign travel, ballroom dancing, the casino game craps and studying psychology.
