Kathy Jo (Applegate) Hines, age 48 of Chadwick, Missouri passed away suddenly, Sunday morning, February 12, 2023, in her home. She was born July 22, 1974, in Springfield, Missouri, to her parents Joseph and Patricia (Cunningham) Applegate.
Kathy was a longtime Christian County resident who enjoyed being with her family and attending horse sales with her dad. She was a dedicated employee for Expedia Travel for over 10 years and enjoyed helping people plan their vacations and travel plans. Kathy also looked forward to her own travel times and adventures. Her life was totally changed when she was diagnosed with Gillian Barre’ Syndrome and she experienced life changing abnormalities. Kathy will be sadly missed but her loving memory will live on forever in the hearts of her wonderful family and friends, who loved her.
Kathy is survived by her dad Joe Applegate; brother Billy Joe Applegate and wife Terri; two nephews B.J. Applegate and wife Kendra, and Cory Jones; a niece Danielle Applegate; great-nephew Kipton Case; an aunt and several other caring relatives and friends. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother Pat Applegate, sister Lori Anne Trabold, brother Joseph Earl Applegate, maternal and paternal grandparents.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00A.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2023 in Applegate Family Cemetery, Chadwick, Missouri. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com
