Larry W. Perkins, age 67 of Highlandville, Missouri passed away in his home Thursday evening, August 6, 2015. He was born October 15, 1947 in Keytesville, Missouri the son of Kenneth and Myrtle (Ashley) Perkins. On November 2, 1993 he was united in marriage to Peggy Fabregas. Larry proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army during the Viet Nam War. He began his tour of duty on November 8, 1966 and was honorably discharged on August 21, 1968 after attaining the rank of E-5 Army Sergeant. For 20 years Larry owned and operated Champion Ice Company in the Houston, Texas area. After selling his business in the year of 2000, he and Peggy moved to the Ozarks and were owners of Ozark Motor Cycle Funeral Escort Services for six years. Larry will be deeply missed by his family and many friends. Larry is survived by his wife Peggy; daughter Sherri O’Dowd and husband Brad; two sons Tony Perkins and Bradley Willingham; three grandchildren; sister Shirley Huckabey; three brothers Lloyd Perkins, Travis and Teddy Erickson other caring relatives and many friends. Larry was preceded in death by his parents. Visitation for Larry will be 1:00 to 2:00 P.M. Saturday, August 15, 2015 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Memorial services and Celebration of Life will begin at 2:00P.M. with full military honors at the funeral home.     We will miss you, Larry!! Larry was the best man at our wedding and we have known Larry and Peggy many years. True friendships are rare and Larry was a special guy. Although we will miss you, we know you are in a better place now.

    We have know Larry for several years when he was living here in Keytesville. We had a lot of good times together and he will be sadly missed by Kathy and I.
