Mona Elloene Davis, 91, of Overland Park, Kansas, passed away on February 4, 2025, in Maple Grove, Minnesota. Mona was born October 21, 1933 in Bruner, Missouri, the daughter of Lucy and Elmer Luttrull.
Mona was a devoted mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was a cashier at Cherokee United Super (Cherokee Sun Fresh) Grocery Store for over 40 years until the store closed. She liked working in her yard and was active in her church.
Mona was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Herbert Davis; parents, six brothers and four sisters.
Mona is survived by one daughter Ramona Steadman and husband Marc and one son Brent Davis. Mona is also survived by her grandchildren Michelle Cordes and husband Adam, Victoria VanWatermulen and her husband Matt, and Andrew Steadman; great-grandchildren Brynna Cordes, Jackson Cordes, Hudson VanWatermulen, and Logan VanWatermulen. Mona was loved by many and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Funeral services for Mona will be on Friday, February 14, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., in Barnes Family Funeral Home in Ozark, Missouri, with Pastor Bally Johnson officiating. Visitation will be held at 1:00 P.M., Friday until service begins. Burial will follow in the Sparta Cemetery.
