Warren Jay Hibbard, age 72, of Springfield, Missouri, went home to be with our Lord on January 28, 2025, in his home after a battle with cancer. He was born January 21, 1953, in Quincy, Illinois to Harold and Phyllis Hibbard. Warren married his high school sweetheart, Sarah Jean (Hibbard) on January 13, 1973, and they raised two wonderful children, Charity (Hibbard) Jervis and Jared Hibbard.

In 1973 he gave his life to the Lord, and we know he is now residing with his Heavenly Father. After high school, he worked various jobs which led him to open his own company of H&H Concrete Construction that flourished. In 1993, he was given the opportunity to expand his business with Gary Eichelberger, which became Stamp Crete. The family moved from Quincy, Illinois to Seymour, Missouri. Then in 2002, Warren finally accomplished his dream of opening The Tool Store in Seymour. Warren also liked to fish and camp with his family. On February 14, 2010, he married for the second time to Galena (Makarchuk) Hibbard.

Warren is survived by his father Harold Hibbard, daughter Charity (Hibbard) Jervis and husband Ryan Jervis; son Jared Hibbard; step-daughter Vita Caterenciuc and husband Sergei; a brother Eldon Hibbard and his wife Bonnie, two sisters Marita Johnson and Lisa O’Brian; sisters-in law Rosa (Makarchuk) Chikalo and husband Aleksander and Nina (Makarchuk) Moraru and husband Valentine; grandchildren Cody Buchanan and wife Brittney, Allyson Kain, Vanson Jervis and Sydney Jervis, Dominic Caterenciuc, Anita Caterenciuc, Konstantin Chikalo, Sasha Chikalo and Ivan Chikalo; a great granddaughter Adeline Gilbert; several nieces and nephews.

Warren was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Hibbard, brother-in-law Larry O’Brian and second wife, Galena Hibbard; brothers-in-law Nikolay Makarchuk and Mihail Makarchuk and sisters-in-law Masha Makarchuk and Raisa Makarchuk.

Funeral services for Warren will be held at 11:00 A.M., Tuesday, February 4, 2025 in  Barnes Funeral Home in Ozark, Missouri, with Pastor Alex Musichuk officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Selmore Cemetery.

    I haven’t seen Warren for a number of years but we were first cousins and my heart sympathizes with his father, brother and sisters. He knew the Lord and that is a huge blessing knowing he possesses eternal life free of pain and the joy we can hardly imagine. Bless your family and God’s grace to comfort you!
