Ray Dean Mincks, 69 of Ozark, passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in his home with his loving family and wife of 46 years by his side. He was born June 11, 1941 in Rogersville, the son of Clifford and Lorene (Hicks) Mincks. Ray Dean was united in marriage to Linda Kay Amos on June 19, 1964 and to this union two children were born.
Ray Dean retired from MODOT and enjoyed hunting, fishing and riding his motorcycle. He especially enjoyed spending time with his wife at their little get-away cabin in Protem.
Ray Dean was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Lillian Bogart.
He is survived by his wife, Linda; son Darren Ray Mincks of Nixa and daughter Beth Roberts and husband Ritchie of Ozark; two grandchildren Chris and Courtney Hug; three brothers Elmer, David, and Billy Mincks; three sisters Bonnie Estes, Betty Casto and Ruby Aikens; other caring relatives and several friends.
Graveside funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 22, 2011 in McConnell Cemetery, Nixa, Mo. with Pastor Lance Ogden officiating under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Visitation will be held Thursday 6 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
