Raymond E. Cass, 83 of Ozark (formerly of Fordland) passed away suddenly in his home on January 12, 2014. Raymond was born in Webster County, MO to Laurence and Etta (Sweet) Cass.Raymond graduated from Marshfield High School in 1948. He attended Missouri University and proudly served his country four years in the United States Navy as an electrician’s mate on a submarine during the Korean War. Raymond was a dairy farmer for many years on his family’s Centennial Farm until his retirement in 1995.

Raymond was preceded in death by his wife Margurite (Maggie), one brother, Richard, a sister, Marianna Andrews and one step-son, Charles Johnson.Raymond is survived by his wife, Louise, and his eight children; Jerry Cass and wife Marcia, Ava, Larry and wife Virginia, Fordland, Norman Cass, Marshfield, Julie McElroy and husband Mike Houston, TX, Mary Forbes and husband Mark, Mtn. Grove, Jeanette Cass, Rogersville, George Cass, Fordland, David and wife Joy, Fordland, his two step-children, Jeff Johnson and wife Linda Broken Arrow, OK, Krissy Padfield and husband Dan, Rogersville, 27 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, one brother, Dudley Cass and wife Ruth, Bonita, CA and many nieces and nephews.

Graveside memorial services will be 2:00 p.m., Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Marshfield Cemetery. Cremation under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
