Rebecca Lynn Jennings, fondly known as Becky Lynn, age 48 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Monday night, October 10, 2022, surrounded by her friends and family, in Cox South Hospital. She was born January 24, 1974, in Springfield Missouri to her parents Gary and Velvet (Bilyeu) Jennings. On August 29, 2015, she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Shawn Spurlock.
Becky Lynn gave birth to her daughter, Alexis Haley Jennings at a young age and spent the rest of her time on earth teaching, loving and supporting her daughter. She was so very proud of each accomplishment Alli has made in life and shared them openly with everyone. Becky was a lifelong resident of Ozark, Missouri and greatly loved her community, serving as the president of the Finley River Saddle Club. She was also an avid lover of Western and Equestrian arts. For over a decade, Becky Lynn honed her trick riding and performance abilities as a specialty rider at Dolly Parton’s Dixie Stampede, of Branson. She then moved on to her true passion of coaching future trick riders for rodeo performances across the country. Heading up the Ozark Renegades was one of her greatest joys. Becky was an amazing mother, a loving wife, and the best friend a person could have. She faced her life with ferocity, strength, faith and hope. She will be terribly missed by all who knew her.
Becky is survived by her parents, Gary and Velvet Jennings; her caring husband, Shawn Spurlock; daughter, Alli Jennings; stepdaughters Kacey Spurlock and Hailey Spurlock-Atkinson and partner Janean; grandmother, Janice Bilyeu; a brother, Rick Jennings and his wife Leigh; a sister from another mister, Cheyenne Little; a nephew, Tucker Jennings; nieces, Brett Jennings, Ari Stull and Addi Stull; and many loving uncles, aunts and cousins. Becky was preceded in death by her grandfather, Bobby Jack Bilyeu; several precious aunts, uncles, and cousins; and her trusty steed, Lucky.
Graveside funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, October 13, 2022, in Ozark City Cemetery, under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. No chapel visitation is planned. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com

October 12, 2022 at 1:25 pmNot nearly enough time for her to spend here on earth. But thankful her pain is gone. I remember her helping our daughter Cindy getting on the Ozark Pom Pom squad. She was such a special person in her early days and in her adult years. She will be missed and was a special part of our family. I’m so sorry for the pain that you all feel. Much love cousin Janet Heatherly.
