Matthew will be dearly missed. I loved seeing him every morning at the gas station. He truly became a dear friend sharing stories back and forth. Just this past Friday he was giving me such a hard time and he thought it was hilarious. I will miss him.

I was shocked and saddened to learn of Matt’s death. Most of my dealings with Matt were when he was a student in the geology program at MSU, both in classes and on field trips. He was always a pleasure to be around. Unfortunately I have rarely seen him since I retired. My condolences to his family and friends.

I was so sorry about Matt. I was one of his geology professors. I was also sorry that I couldn’t attend his funeral because I was in Kansas City for my youngest daughter’s wedding. My deepest condolences.

I just heard about Matt and my heart breaks, I wondered where my favorite gas station smile was and asked and was so heartbroken to hear. My daughter always wondered when her candy man will be working. My condolences go out to his family he always talked so highly of, he loved you all so much.
