Robert G. Frauenhofer November 13, 1937 - June 18, 2012

Robert G. Frauenhofer, age 74, of Sparta passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family Monday, June 18, 2012. He was born November 13, 1937 in Torrington, Connecticut. On October 1, 1960 he married the love of his life Doris Fulop. Together they enjoyed fifty one wonderful years of marriage. Rob proudly served his country four years as a member of the United States Air Force. After a successful career as a general contractor he retired and still actively enjoyed doing the things he loved, remodeling houses, working in the yard and growing his tomato plants. He and Doris loved to travel and visit with friends and family. Rob also really enjoyed drinking coffee with his friend Jim while talking about philosophy and books. He was also the author of two published books. He is survived by his wife and two sons; Steven Frauenhofer and girlfriend Debbie of Loveland, CO and Scott Frauenhofer and fiancé Angie of Reno, NV; many caring relatives and many great friends. Memorial services were held 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 20, 2012 in Sparta Assembly of God Church with Pastor Darrell Mead officiating.
