Sandra Boyd, age 76 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Friday, November 22, 2024, with her husband by her side. She was born March 30, 1948, in Muskogee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert and Norma Allison. On April 15, 1965, Sandy was united in marriage to David Boyd. In July 1965, Sandy gave birth to a daughter, Gina and  welcomed a son, Davy, in 1970. She was a homemaker and a stay-at-home mom, caring for her children. After the children were in school Sandy attended cosmetology school leading to a successful career where she worked until retirement. Her greatest joy after retirement was spending time with her grandchildren.

Sandy touched the lives and hearts of many, she always had a smile on her face and a hug for anyone she met. She never met a stranger and would light up a room with her contagious laugh. She will be missed but never forgotten.

Sandy was preceded in death by her mother Norma Hand; father Lloyd Hand; sister Brenda Scoggins; brothers Terry Hand and Jimmy Allison.

She is lovingly survived by her husband David Boyd; sister Patty Penny; daughter Gina Ekiss and husband Bob; son Davy Boyd and wife Candy; six grandchildren Michael Burgess, Hannah White, Jessica Boyd, Bryer Boyd, Lauren Roussell and Lake Shelton; six great-grandchildren Olivia White, Jayden Roussell, Maverick Roussell, Kinsley Roussell, Ryder Shelton and Lya Boyd; nieces, nephews and loving friends.

Visitation for Sandy will be from 1:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. Monday, December 2, 2024, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Reception will follow 3:00 to 5:00 P.M. at the Ozark Community Center (The OC), 1530 West Jackson Street, Ozark, Missouri Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
