Shelba Lawson, age 80 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Wednesday evening, September 9, 2020 in Ozark Riverview Manor. She was born October 2, 1939 in Ava, Missouri the daughter of Jeff Shipman and Zora ( Sivils) Shipman. On March 25, 1982, Shelba was united in marriage to Johnie Lawson who preceded her in death in 2002.
Shelba was a committed employee and a dedicated hard working lady, she was employed with Fosters Manufacturing for 20 years, Zenith, Sears and especially enjoyed working the retail shops at Silver Dollar City of Branson. She also enjoyed collecting animal figurines and attending Mt Zion Baptist Church of Ozark. Over the years, Shelba spent her spare time loving her family, grandchildren and sharing many memories. Shelba will be sadly missed but will live on in the hearts of her loving family members and friends.
Shelba is survived by two sons Jeff Richards and wife Lisa and Bryan Richards; five grandchildren Christopher Richards, Lane Richards, Cheri Byrom, Brittany Richards, Taylor Stephens and husband Kurt; two great-grandchildren and several other caring relatives. In addition to her husband Johnie Lawson, Shelba was also preceded in death by her parents, a brother and a sister.
Graveside services will be 2:00 Tuesday, September 15, 2020 in Linden Cemetery. Visitation will be held 12:30 P.M. to 1:30 P.M. in Barnes Family Funeral Home prior to the graveside services. On line condolences may shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com
