Steven A. Fox, age 63 of Highlandville, Missouri passed away early Saturday morning, January 5, 2019 in his home and surrounded by his family. He was born January 28, 1955 in Smithville, Missouri the son of Elvis A. and Lena Faye (Williams) Fox. On April 25, 1996 he was united in marriage to Geneva (Hale) Fox.
Steve was an electrician/welder by trade and loved to teach others the art of electrical wiring. His talent allowed him to make anything electrical. During his spare time, Steve was an outdoorsman who enjoyed anything outdoors, especially camping and doing his yard maintenance.
Steve is survived by his wife Geneva; five children James A. Fox and wife Alaina, Steven Allen Fox, Jr, David Yount and wife Rose; Jeff Yount, Amanda Morris and husband Heath; his Father Elvis Fox; nine grandchildren and other caring relatives. Steve was preceded in death by his mother and brother Stanley.
Funeral service will be 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in Ozark Mountain United Pentecostal Church. Visitation will begin at noon for two hours before the funeral service. Burial will follow at Prospect Cemetery and the family requests donations be made to the church. Arrangements and services under the direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
