Timothy Joe Daily November 12, 1953 - January 24, 2020

Timothy Joe Daily, age 66 of Springfield, Missouri passed away Friday, January 24, 2020. He was born November 12, 1953 the son of A.J. and Mary (Berry) Daily.

Tim attended Eugene Field Elementary, Pershing Junior High and graduated from Glendale High School in Springfield. While attending high school Tim began working for Zales Jewelry Store. Later, Tim enjoyed being a skilled and talented home remodeling and construction worker. He found pleasure in outdoor activities but he especially favored being a St. Louis Cardinals fan. Tim’s life revolved around family, always caring and doing for others. During his lifetime as a single guy, Tim gave freely of his spare time. He was generous and always willing to be caregiver for his mother and step-father during their years of impairments. His big heart also carried over to lending a helping hand to others who needed assistance. Tim was loved by many and will be sadly missed but his memory will live on forever in the hearts of his family members.

Tim is survived by his loving sister Linda Daily; his Godson-special nephew, Christopher Johnson and wife Sophia; his great-niece Ava and great-nephew Griffon; two aunts, Pat Triffon and husband George and Virginia Vander Pleog; special friends Sandy Smith, Melissa and Steve Tiffany. Tim is also survived by several loving cousins, many friends and all past, present and future St Louis Cardinals. He was preceded in death by his parents and step-father Jim Jennings.

In lieu of flowers donations are suggested to the Humane Society of Southwest Missouri, 3161 W. Norton Road, Springfield, Missouri 65803.

Celebration of Life visitation time will be 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening, January 29, 2020 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. On line condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com

    Condolences on Tim’s passing. We had many a camping trip & days on the river, back when we all worked at Northtown Mall. Peace & comfort to the family.

    Tim was a good friend and softball teammate.We shared many nights out under the lights on the diamond.He always made me laugh.R.I.P. my friend….

    I was so sorry to here of Tim’s passing so many good memories I had a huge crush on him when I worked in the mall and he at Zales then he and his team played ball and went all the way to win the triple A championship! No one thought they could! Lol I will treasure the times we spent together until we meet again!

    Sadness for so many and our deepest condolences for his family. I knew TD when he worked at Zales. Went through photos yesterday with tears and wonderful memories. Our hearts are broken.

    I was so sad to hear about Tim passing away. I have fond memories of working with him at Basketcase, when he helped deliver for us. He is in a better place, and now will have the best seat in the house for all the Cardinals games : )
