Tommy Lee Little, age 80 of Ponce de Leon, Missouri, passed away Monday, October 21, 2024, in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri with his sister and daughter by his side. Tommy was the baby of 16 children, born June 12, 1944, to Milton and Eliza Ann (Pitts) Little, at the Old Doc Wade farm, in Ozark, Missouri.

On October 2, 1965, Tommy was united in marriage to Helen L. Wilson and to this union four children were born.

Tommy graduated from Ozark High School in 1962 and was a longtime Christian County resident. He proudly served his country as a member of the United States Navy and was a dedicated employee for over 30 years as a Sears service technician. Tommy loved fishing, going to auctions, being with family and friends and always enjoyed a good conversation. For the past year and half Tommy fought for his life battling multiple health issues with a smile on his face and was proud every time he proved the doctors wrong.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 12 siblings, William Little, Ollie Little, Estie Dougan, Mable Keysser, Homer Little, Dock Little, Doyle Little, Lucille Dennis, Arthur Little, Myrtle Loveland, Rose Little and Millard Little; his son-in-law Todd Gammon and infant grandson Cameron O’Connor.

Tommy is survived by his loving wife Helen; four children Linda Little of Bozeman, Montana; Mary Little of Monument, Colorado; Michelle Gammon of Spokane, Missouri; and Aaron Little and wife Amy of Springfield, Missouri; eight grandchildren Kyle, Kendall. Kaden, and Kelson Gammon; Garrett and Brendan O’Connor; Hudson and Ginger Little; siblings Marvin Little and wife Evie, Alice Jane Blanchard and Florence Rantz, other caring relatives and many friends.

Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 28, 2024 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri. Burial will follow in Eisenhour Cemetery with the United States Navy providing full military honors. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service and begin at 10:00 AM.
