Wilda Mae (Rinck) McHaffie Lawson, dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 82 of Ozark, Missouri passed away in her home, Friday, July 28, 2023. Wilda was born February 14, 1941, the daughter of Harold and Hester Rinck, in Bruner, Missouri. On October 11, 1997 she was united in marriage to Clifford Wayne Lawson.

Wilda graduated from Norte Del Rio High School, Sacramento, California in 1959.  She worked many years as a bookkeeper, tax advisor, receptionist, pastry chef, cook and baker before retiring. She loved music, traveling, embroidering, quilting, and crafting.

Wilda is survived by her husband Clifford; sister Geraldine Mehl; four daughters, Debbie (McHaffie) King and husband Allen, Shirley (McHaffie) Posey, Pamela (Lawson) Gideon and husband Jacob, Sheila (Lawson) Allen, and son Rick Lawson; nine grandchildren Allen King Jr and wife Jennifer, Charity McHaffie, Stephen Posey, Christina Posey, Tyler Posey, Andrea Gideon, Tonya Gideon, Brandon Banzet, Amanda Patterson; and 13 great-grandchildren. She will be sadly missed by countless family and friends. Her loving memory will live on forever in our hearts.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Johnny McHaffie, grandson Joel McHaffie, brother William Rinck, and sisters Marjorie Williams and Faye Jenks.

Funeral services for Wilda will be 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 2, 2023, at Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri with Pastor James Kimbrough officiating. A burial will follow in Fordland Cemetery, Fordland, Missouri. Visitation will be held at 9:00 A.M., one hour prior to the funeral service.
