October 25, 2016 at 2:05 pmThe students in our class were very sad at the loss of Pete. He was a friend to everyone in the class and always had a positive attitude. He was well liked. We will miss him greatly. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.

October 25, 2016 at 2:49 pmIt is a strange thing to lose someone you have known for 28 years. Although I have been absent the last 9 months, you were always in my thoughts. We experienced growing pains in life, finding the loves of our lives, our kids playing together when they were so young, laughter, arguments, tears, friendships, bands, gigs, mistakes we made, worries, and times when we were lost. If I had never met you I wouldn’t know of half the music I listen to now. We were far from perfect, but we were always perfect friends. You would never want those of us who knew you well to let your sudden passing linger throughout the rest of our lives. You would want us to encourage others to learn an instrument, or give someone an outlet for their expression through music. You would want us to pass on our love of music to everyone. I will miss you Pete. I will miss that laugh and the never ending silly streak you had. You are loved by so many people, that I do not even think you realized how much. We will see you again someday.

November 9, 2016 at 12:47 pmI was fortunate to get to know Pete when he took my class at OTC last year. I had ran into him on campus several times this fall and it always made my day that he took time to stop and visit. I saw Matt today and he told me the sad news about Pete’s passing. Please know that you are in my thoughts at this sorrowful time.
