Austin Keese July 15, 1997 - March 2, 2020

With deepest sorrow we announce that Austin Drake Keese, age 22, our beloved son, brother, family member and friend passed away suddenly Monday, March 2, 2020 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. Austin was born July 15, 1997 in Tyler, Texas. Austin moved to Ozark, Missouri with his family and later to Buffalo, Missouri.  He attended both Ozark and Buffalo schools and was presently taking classes at OTC in Springfield, Missouri.

Austin accepted the Lord as his Savior at a young age. He had a talent for drawing, graphic art and playing guitar.  He loved to read, learn new things, he also had a knack for making coffee drinks and cooking. Austin enjoyed a good beer, playing video games, doing funny voices, impressions, singing, having thoughtful conversations and spending time with his family.

Those who knew Austin, even a little, lost a shining star in their lives.  Austin will be deeply missed every day by his mother Wendy Salyers, his father Brian Keese, his brothers Christopher and Matthew, his sisters Lindsey and Makayla, his grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his cats Goldie and Cooper.

Graveside services will be 2:30 P.M., Friday, March 6, 2020 in Selmore Cemetery, Ozark.  Visitation will be held from noon to 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 6, 2020 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
