Penny Fern Colorado October 29, 1964 - March 2, 2020

Penny Fern Colorado, age 55 of Ozark, Missouri passed away early Monday morning, March 2, 2020 in her home. She was born October 29, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri the daughter of Herschel Eugene and Charlotte (Shaffer) Lewallen.

Penny was a dedicated employee and was presently employed as a manager for Village Inn. Her outgoing personality gave her the ability to meet her many customers and interact with a genuine loving heart. During her spare time, Penny enjoyed the casinos and gambling. But family came first and spending time with her grandchildren was her real passion. Penny was a doting mom and loved all of her family unconditionally, she will be sadly missed but her memory will live on forever.

Penny is survived by three children Randa Ward, Brook Gash, and Bradley Gash all of Ozark; four grandchildren Dylan Ward, Kaydin Simmerman, Maliyah Cordner and Layah Cooper; siblings Tammy Marshell, Chris Shipley and wife Sheryl, Cindy Eckenrode, Missy Callender and husband Sherman, and Bill Noel; a very special friend Scott Adams and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, step-father Max Shipley, brother-in-law Roger Marshell and aunt Barbara Collins.

Funeral services will be 2:00P.M. Thursday, March 5, 2020 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with burial to follow in Weaver Cemetery. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00P.M. Just now that she is in a better place with no pain and loving family there to greet her. There to watch over and protect you.     One of the best women I ever knew. I’m going to really miss our two hour talks about nothing important whatsoever. I’m also going to really miss your mannerisms and sense of humor. Also one of the best parents I ever knew. Can’t wait to see you again one day Penny!
