Barbara Jean Burk, age 76 of Spokane, Missouri passed away Sunday, December 21, 2014 in her home. She was born May 6, 1938 the daughter of Leon and Walcie May (Lewis) Stewart. Jean was a longtime resident of Christian County and a dedicated employee of Fasco Industries for over 23 years. After retiring, Jean enjoyed being outdoors tending her flowers and vegetable garden. She was also a Western fan, fond of watching hunting programs and a talented cook. Jean also enjoyed attending church at Hilltop Full Gospel Church. Jean was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, one sister and a granddaughter Kristy Burk. Jean is survived by her son Keith Burk and longtime girlfriend Kim of Spokane; a daughter Kathy Lambert and husband Dean of Ozark; brother Dean Stewart of Spokane; sister Ann Stewart of Springfield; two grandchildren Natasha Hankins and Keshia Klosky; four great-grandchildren Bo and Cole Aton, Mason and Kimber Klosky. Jean also leaves behind her much loved furry friend, Bubby. Graveside funeral services will be 2:00p.m. Friday, December 26, 2014 in Spokane Cemetery, Spokane, Missouri, under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark.
