Betty Teague, age 86 of Bruner, Missouri, passed away Monday afternoon, March 13, 2017 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield. She was born in Ozark on May 8, 1930 the daughter of George and Hilma (Bilyeu) Brumley. On December 21, 1946 she was united in marriage to Bobby Teague and together they enjoyed celebrating 70 years of marriage. Betty was a longtime Christian County resident and well-known for her genealogy knowledge and information. She enjoyed sharing her thoughts and her unique personality was treasured by her many friends. After serving as a 30 year employee for Fasco Industries, she enjoyed her retirement and caring for her large loving family. Betty will be forever treasured for creating wonderful memories with her dear family. Betty is survived by her husband Bobby Teague; seven children Judy Weagley, Kenny Teague, Robert Teague and partner Kim Lawson, Sandy Heminy and husband Richard, Debra Phillips and husband Jack, Timmy Teague, Missy Gimlin and husband Chuck; 18 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law Mary Teague, Sue Pellham and husband John, other caring relatives and many friends. Funeral services will be 2:00 P.M. Thursday, March 16, 2017 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with Pastor Allan Maggard officiating. Burial will follow in Bruner Cemetery.
