Beulah Fern Shoemaker, age 83 of Ozark, Missouri, passed away Thursday evening, March 5, 2015 in her home. She was born January 20, 1932 the daughter of Maurice and Hazel (Goode) Borror. On February 19, 1955 she was united in marriage to Merrill Junior Shoemaker.Fern was a longtime resident of Christian County and a retired employee of Fasco Industries. Victory Baptist Church was Fern’s church home where she was a faithful member and enjoyed fellowship with her many friends. Fern also enjoyed the Senior Citizens group, their entertainment activities and fun bus trips. She loved her family and will be missed dearly by her caring family and good friends.Fern is survived by three children Paula E Griffith and husband Howard of Springfield, Rosy Nazzaro and husband Gerard of Ozark, Debbie Martin and husband Marty of Spokane; two sisters Betty Riley and Maurene Martin; seven grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, other caring relatives and several friends. Fern was preceded in death by her parents and husband in 1986.Graveside funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Monday, March 9, 2015 in Ozark City Cemetery with Pastor Bob Long officiating.     I will miss “wild thing”. I am glad I got to know her through her driving my mother around to work and to breakfast before taking her to work. I found out she was a “wild thing” when she would swing her head around while driving when motorcyclists would drive by. She was a very sweet lady. When she left this world and met Jesus she was clapping her hands and giving Him a hug. Terri Evans
