Date of Funeral

April 18, 2022

Beverly Sue (Moore) Duclos, age 74 of Nixa, Missouri passed away peacefully, Tuesday evening, April 12, 2022.  She was born January 17, 1948 in Clarkton, Missouri to her parents Carlee and Laverne Moore. She was the oldest of two children; and had an older sister Barbara, who died at childbirth. On May 26, 1973, she was united in marriage to her college sweetheart, Roger Duclos, at Crossroads Assembly of God in Gideon, Missouri.

Beverly was employed at General Council of the Assembly of God for over 20 years.  She worked in Secretariat under Brother George W. Wood, John Palmer, and Jim Bradford where she handled the Minister Licenses and Renewals.  Beverly found great pleasure in serving Jesus, tending to her roses, and being with her beloved family.  She was the best wife, mother and grandmother she could be always sharing her strength, grace, faith and love with her family and friends.  Roger and Beverly were blessed with two children, Angela and Matthew.  She met Roger while attending Central Bible College. During retirement she was a home maker to her family and grandchildren. Her one favorite hobby was growing roses. She cared for over 150 roses in the back yard of their home in Nixa Missouri, they were her pride and joy. She was a member of James River Church from the early start of the church. Beverly and Roger loved devoting time in the church and helping new believers grow in their new-found faith. Beverly loved praying for new believers and rejoiced each time one would come to know Christ.  Her greatest desire was for her family to passionately serve Jesus all the days of their lives!

Beverly is survived by her loving husband Roger; daughter Angela Wead and husband Jason; son Matthew Duclos and wife Carolyn; seven grandchildren; Miles Wead, Logan Wead, Maliha Wead, Finnley Wead, Isabelle Duclos, Ellie Duclos, and Ethan Duclos; brother Johnny Moore and wife Juanita; and two nieces Heather and Emily.  Beverly was preceded in death by her parents.
