Patricia LeAnn Cook, age 46 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Saturday, April 2, 2022 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. She was born to Barton Dean Higdon and Patricia Gay Rush in Jefferson City, Missouri on July 14, 1975.

In 1997, LeAnn was united in marriage to Larry Lee Cook, Jr. and they lived together in Ozark, Missouri. Together they raised three children Joshua, Noah, and Mark. LeAnn and Larry celebrated 24 blessed years of marriage. She met Larry at church.

LeAnn graduated from Central High School and worked at home as a wife and mom. She also was employed at Ozark schools until diagnosed with breast cancer. Her most favorite was working a family-owned business and was passionate about affecting the most positive change in people. She also volunteered at the Bellview Baptist Church and went on mission trips. She had a love for cats and after she became ill LeAnn adopted her service cat and named him Chicken. She spent most of her free time walking the town of Ozark with her boys. LeAnn loved hammocking in the park surrounded by her kids. She spent many of her earlier years taking care of her mom. LeAnn battled stage 4 Triple negative Metastatic Breast cancer for almost 6 years and in that time she had a love for all things Lilo and Stitch.

In addition to her parents Patricia Rush and Barton Higdon, LeAnn is also proceeded in death by her Sister Julie Ann Moore.

Surviving in addition to her husband Larry Cook Jr, are her sons, Joshua Cook (Victoria Gulick – Bella), Noah Cook (Sydney Jones), Mark Cook (Tyme Cook).

Her Siblings Debra Sedgwick (Phillip Sedgwick), Joseph Moore Jr., Sandra Moore, BJ Higdon (Terri Lynn Higdon). As well as her service cat Chicken and so many family members, loved ones and friends too many to count and name.

A Celebration of life will be held 12:00 pm – 4:00pm. Saturday, April 30,2022 at Finely River Park Ozark, Missouri. Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Online condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfunerals.com.
