Charles Goodrich October 12, 1948 - June 2, 2021

Charles Goodrich, age 72 of Sparta, Missouri passed away Wednesday, June 2, 2021 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. He was born October 12, 1948, in Santa Clara, California the son of Frank and Sylvia (Small) Goodrich. On May 3, 1995 he was united in marriage to Margaret Roszell.

Chuck as he was fondly known among his family and friends, proudly served his country during the Viet Nam War from 1966-1968 and was honorably discharged. He was a hard worker and committed his time to many career paths. Chuck enjoyed his time as a railroad engineer, a Greyhound bus driver and being a technician/owner of his dental lab. In his spare time, he enjoyed working on motorcycles, fishing and hunting. Chuck was always creative and finding ways to work with his bare hands. His story telling was captivating and he was recognized with his amazing smile. Chuck was a well-known jokester and helped everyone have a good day. He loved children and especially babies. Chuck loved playing cards, dominos, collecting coins, guns, knives and spending time with his family.

Chuck is survived by his loving wife Margaret; four daughters Sarah Goodrich, Rochelle Raven, Cheri White Pricer, and Cindy Shaw; two sons Ray Raven and Jason Roszell; and other caring relatives.

Funeral services with burial and full military honors for Chuck will be 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, June 8, 2021 in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri.
