Clyde “Mick” McGee, Jr. July 12, 1940 - December 13, 2013

Clyde (Mick) E. McGee Jr., age 73 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Friday, December 13, 2013 in his home. Mick was born July 12, 1940 in River Rouge, Michigan, the son of Clyde and Anne (Taylor) McGee, Sr. He was united in marriage on August 6, 1966 to Rachel Hintz. While residing in Michigan, Mick was an Assemblies of God Pastor for many years. In 1998 he moved to Ozark for retirement. Mick proudly served his country as a member of the United States Air Force from November 1959 to October 30, 1963. He received an honorable discharge and was a grateful veteran. Mick is survived by his wife Rachel McGee; son Todd and wife Beth; daughter Stacey Gimlin and husband Truitt; two grandchildren Bailey and Clayton Gimlin; a sister Judy Thayer and husband Bill, other caring relatives and friends. Mick was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services for Mick will be 12:30 P.M., Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with Pastor Clent Wells officiating. Burial will follow at 2:00 P.M. at Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO with full military honors. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Monday, December 16, 2013 in the funeral home.
