David Rodgers, 37, of Springfield, Missouri, passed away on March 22, 2025. David was born June 19, 1987, in Springfield, Missouri, the son of Max and Bettina (Singleton) Rodgers.
David was a Christian, full of life and brought joy to everyone around him. A true car enthusiast, David found happiness in the roar of an engine and the open road. Music was another passion, whether singing or enjoying one of his favorite songs, David loved a ‘sick beat’. Known for an incredible sense of humor, David was always the life of the party, bringing laughter with a witty joke or a silly impression. But beyond the fun, he had a huge heart and was always ready to lend a hand or share kindness. He enjoyed baseball and was a dedicated Cardinals fan. Bowling was another one of his many talents, where he showed skill and competitive spirit. David’s need for speed started at a young age where he competed and won numerous races at Ozark International Raceway racing his junior dragster. Above all, David will be remembered for his huge hugs and his warmth, generosity, and joy he brought to family and friends.
David is survived by his loving parents, Max and Tina Rodgers; sister, Sally Moore; many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by grandparents Pauline Rodgers and Jack and Betty Singleton.
Funeral services for David will be held Friday, March 28, 2025 at 11:00 A.M., in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri.
