Deborah Sue Phillips, age 66 of Sparta, Missouri passed away Wednesday, January 5, 2022 in Mercy Hospital, Springfield, Missouri. She was born December 3, 1955 the daughter of Bobby Dean and Betty Lou Teague. At the young age of 17 and after being high school sweethearts, Debbie was united in marriage to Jackie Lee Phillips, September 14, 1973. Jack and Debbie were blessed with two wonderful sons, Robin and Tyler. They stayed in the Sparta community where she was well known by all, “as the onery one.” She was a dedicated employee for many years at Fasco Industries and later Emerson Climate Technologies, where she retired and enjoyed all her free time. Debbie loved ball games of all kinds and you could find her in the bleachers or the stands of many games to support her kids and others. She was always up for a trip or an experience no matter how big or small. Debbie was the best at playing cards and was always finding a good deal. She truly was one of kind, God fearing woman and was loved by so many. Debbie will be sadly missed but will live on forever in the hearts of her loved ones and many friends.
Deborah was preceded in death by her parents Bobby and Betty Teague of Bruner, Missouri and her parents-in-law Leroy and Fern Phillips of Bruner, Missouri. She is survived by her husband Jack Phillips of Sparta Missouri; son Robin Phillips and Jennifer Bradshaw of Bruner Missouri, son Tyler Phillips and wife Tiffany of Sparta, Missouri; grandchildren Dylan Phillips, Xavier Thomas, Orion Thomas, Madrical Thomas, Hayden Bradshaw and Parker Bradshaw; great-grandchildren Jackson Weter and Lucas Bradshaw; sisters Judy Weagley, Sandy Heminy and husband Richard, Melissa Gimlin and husband Chuck, brothers Robert, Kenny and Timmy Teague; several nieces, nephews, other caring relatives and many friends.
Funeral services will be 3:00 P.M. Sunday, January 9, 2022 in Fellowship Lighthouse Church, Bruner, Missouri. Visitation will be from 2:00 P.M. to 3:00 P.M. in the church.
