Dennis Norrick, age 71 of Highlandville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, October 8, 2022. He was born April 2, 1951, to June (Beasley) and Walter Norrick in Oakland City, Indiana. On August 1, 1981, he was united in marriage to Janie Knox.
Dennis enjoyed attending church and was a member of James River Church in Ozark, Missouri. He also enjoyed Silver Dollar City, Southern gospel music, being outdoors and fishing with people who were special to him. He was proud of his country and especially loved to talk with people about the Lord. He deeply loved his children and was so proud to be a Papaw.
He will be remembered for his sincere heart, his deep love for the Lord, and his willingness to do anything or tasks to help his kids and family. He did many things behind the scenes, never needing or wanting any recognition.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Steve Norrick.
Family members left to cherish the memories of Dennis include: his wife, Janie Norrick; son Aaron Norrick and wife Krista of Granby, Connecticut; son Joshua Norrick and wife Jordyn of Ozark, Missouri; and five grandchildren Isabel, Ivy, Miller, Mae and Clementine Norrick.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held 12:00 P.M., Friday, November 11, 2022, at James River Church South Campus. Visitation will also be Friday 11:00 A.M. until service time at the church..
