Eva Sue Berry, dearly loved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, age 82 of Ozark, Missouri passed away in Mercy Hospital, Thursday June 22, 2023. Sue was born March 25, 1941, the daughter of Warden and Eda Jenkins near Ava, Missouri. On January 13, 1961, she was united in marriage to Alfred “Al” Berry. Their union was blessed with two sons.

Sue graduated from Mt. Grove High School in 1958 and worked many years before retiring from the United States Postal Service. She enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening with Al,  she also loved cooking and baking for all her family and friends. Sue was an avid quilter and crocheter. In the past 10 years, she spent much of her time embroidering, sewing, and piecing quilts that she gifted for birthdays and holidays. She loved teaching her grandkids and most recently her great granddaughter how to sew, cook and bake. She was a creative, caring, patient, and loving provider to her family.

Sue is survived by her two sons Alan Berry and wife Beverly, Alfred L. Berry and wife Debbie; five grandchildren Erin Beaver and husband Scott, Briana Bates and husband Tom, Jarrett Berry and wife Caylin, Beau Berry and partner CJ, Elijah Berry; and great-grandchildren Norah Beaver, Raeden Berry, and Lela Berry. Sue was a loving sister to her siblings, Karla Roller, David Jenkins, J.W. Jenkins and beloved in-laws, siblings of Al. She will be missed by countless nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Al, and sister Judy.

Funeral services for Sue will be 2:00 P.M. Monday, June 26, 2023, in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri with Pastor Sam Ketcher officiating. A burial will follow in Sparta Cemetery.
