Barnes Family Funerals - Faye Marie Jenks

Faye Marie Jenks, age 69 of Ozark, adored mother, sister, grandmother, daughter, aunt, friend and neighbor passed away early Sunday morning, December 14, 2014. She was born November 15, 1945 in Sacramento California the daughter of Harold and Hester Rinck. Faye was the most honest, strongest, and bravest woman. At times she was stubborn but sweet and always full of love with a heart of gold. Faye did not mind to bear the weight of the world in order to spare others. Even during her illness, she thought of her family before her own pain. A devoted wife, Faye was united in marriage with the luckiest man on the planet, Gary Dean Jenks, Sr. on February 4, 1967 at McClellan Air Force Base. Their lives were blessed with four children and eight grandchildren with whom they took a lot of pride. Faye was talented, very crafty and could take on any art project. She could cook as well, I MEAN cook, she could pull off the most wonderful dishes whether it be for her family of 6 or 600! Faye was a hard worker and spent many of years at Riverside Inn cooking up the most scrumptious dishes. Faye loved her family and taught them the value of love, hard work, and devotion. She not only passed down life virtues to her family but also instilled many talents and gave them blessings of laughter and love. Faye was preceded in death by her father Harold Rinck and brother Bill Rinck. She is survived by her husband Gary Jenks; son Dean Jenks and wife Stacy of Sparta, son David Jenks of Rogers, Arkansas, son Thomas Jenks and wife Lora of Highlandville, daughter Carolynn Jenks and Casey Cohen of Spokane; her mother Hester Rinck; eight grandchildren, James, Caitlynn, JT, Cialee, Akira, Ares, Athena, and Faith; many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. Funeral services will be held at 12:30 P.M. Friday December 19, 2014 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark. Burial followed in Missouri Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri. Visitation was held 6 to 7 P.M. Thursday evening in the funeral home. On line condolences may be shared at www.barnesfamilyfuneral.com
