Jerry James Alexander, of Springfield, Missouri, was born February 10, 1977 and departed this life Friday, June 6, 2014 at the age of 37 years, 3 months and 27 days. On June 10, 1995 he was united in marriage to Jaime Williams. Jerry, fondly known as J.J. was a warm, caring person who always found the right words to make you laugh. He was a hard worker and achieved many accomplishments in life. He touched several lives during his short time on earth and always made a lasting impression. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Jerry was preceded in death by his father, Jerry Alexander, his paternal great grandparents Clyde and Myrtle Cameron and his grandmother Esther Hollingsworth.He is survived by his mother Debby McGinnis and step-father Michael of Clever; two daughters Kaile and Lexie Alexander of Longview, TX; one grandson; one sister Barbara Alexander of Neosho, MO, one brother Robert Alexander of Springfield, MO; many nieces, nephews and other caring relatives. Graveside funeral services for Jerry will be 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 2, 2014 in John’s Chapel Cemetery, Ash Grove, Missouri with Pastor Greg Nelson officiating.     JJ will be missed but never forgotten. Being cousin and going to school with him was never a boring moment. I will always remember when he would come into Quik Trip on his lunch break and give me crap when he worked at CMC. You will be greatly missed, until we meet again.
