Maurene A. Martin, age 82 of Ozark, Missouri passed away late Saturday evening, August 22, 2020. She was born February 28, 1938 the daughter of Maurice and Hazel (Goode) Borror. Maurene was united in marriage to August Martin who preceded her in death on August 5, 2006.
Maurene was a longtime Christian County resident and enjoyed staying busy with the Senior Citizens Group. In her spare time, she loved making crafts and decorating her home. She was blessed with a green thumb and also enjoyed growing beautiful vegetable and flower gardens.
Maurene is survived by two nieces Rosie Nazzaro and husband Gerard, Paula Griffith and husband Howard; cousin Mary Lou; several great nieces and nephews Jerry Alestra and wife Natalie, Adrain Garcia and wife Heather, David Garcia and wife Melanie, Kayla and partner Amanda, Kim, Susan, Jason, Sara, and Rachael. In addition to her husband, Maurene was also preceded in death by her parents, two sisters Fern Shoemaker and Betty Riley.
