Nicholas Andrew Thomas, age 37 of Ozark, Missouri passed away Saturday, December 24, 2016 in Mercy Hospital following a car accident. He was born January 2, 1979, in Springfield, Missouri to Alfred and Paulette (Harvill) Thomas. In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by his three sons, Trent, Xavier and Orion and one beautiful daughter Madrical of the home; his sisters Angie Thomas of Stillwater, OK and Alisa Mitchem and her husband Shawn of St Augustine, FL; nephews and a niece Wyatt, Gavinn and Kendall Mitchem and David Bowman; the mother of his three youngest children, Tiffany Sinamon; and his girlfriend, Corina Stockstill. Nick also is loved by several aunts and uncles, Clovis and Alfred Brown, Delores Harvill, Connie Thomas, Linda Yancey and Janice Thomas; numerous cousins, other caring relatives and friends. Nick was preceded in death by his grandparents, Claude and Mae Harvill, Luther and Flora Thomas and John Bunch; uncles, Larry Harvill, Neal Harvill, John Thomas, Jackie Thomas and Glenn Thomas and aunt Linda Thomas. Nick was a journeyman bricklayer, working for his father and uncle’s construction company until he was diagnosed in 2007 with rheumatoid arthritis. Recently he worked for Rhodes Custom Pools, a job he thoroughly enjoyed. Nick enjoyed repelling, fishing, hunting and spending time with his friends and family. Nick was a caring, compassionate person with a big heart, often willing to give his last dollar to someone in need, even those he didn’t know. On September 30, 1993, Nick was baptized in faith by his dad and became a member of Sparta Church of Christ. Nick was a loving father, son, uncle, cousin and a loyal friend who will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Celebration of Life services for Nick will be 12:00P.M. Tuesday, December 27, 2017 in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark with Ted Spencer officiating services. A two hour visitation will be held10:00A.M. until service time in the funeral home. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Fair Haven Children’s Home in Strafford MO, the Rheumatoid Arthritis Foundation at helpfightra.org, or a charity of your choice in Nick’s memory.
