Reverend Daniel W. Fetzer, age 83, Ozark, MO passed away Wednesday, November 16, 2011 in Cox South Hospital, Springfield, MO. He was born June 27, 1928 in Saint Louis, MO the son of Joseph and Ada ( Adams ) Fetzer. Daniel was united in marriage to Doris Hassell on September 30, 1949. Daniel proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Force and was stationed in Japan for two and one half years. He served as pastor of Apostolic United Pentecostal Church of Montgomery City, MO for fifteen years prior to retirement. He was a minister of the Gospel for over fifty years. He was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Patricia Chapman, twelve brothers and sisters and son-in-law Bill Hulse. Daniel is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Doris Marie; two daughters, Connie Chapman and husband Andrew of Ozark and Sharon Hulse of Ozark; son-in-law Paul Chapman of Rolla; nine grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, other caring relatives and many good friends. Funeral services will be held 12:00 p.m. Monday, November 21, 2011 in Ozark Mountain United Pentecostal Church, Ozark. Burial will follow in Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Springfield, MO. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. until service time Monday, November 21, 2011 in the church. Arrangements under the care and direction of Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, MO.     Dear Doris.
    I was told, some time ago, that Dan had passed away but had never heard the particulars. I’m sorry I haven’t called you. I hope you are doing well. I know how hard it is to lose a loved one. Knowing Jesus makes a difference.
