Wilma (Web) Lee Davis, age 90 of Sparta, Missouri, passed away in her home
while surrounded by her family, and went to Heaven, Tuesday, July 12, 2022. She
was born March 20, 1932, in Chadwick, Missouri the daughter of Homer and Ella
(Lofton) Clevenger. On November 17, 1952, Wilma was united in marriage to
Virgil Davis, Virgil preceded her in death on April 6, 2018.
Wilma was a longtime Christian County resident and enjoyed the rural farm life.
Wilma and Virgil farmed, milked cows, grew huge gardens, worked in the
hayfield, fished, hunted and made homemade sorghum molasses. Wilma loved to
grow flowers and house plants. They enjoyed feeding their neighbors, friends and
family with the huge gardens they grew every Summer.
Wilma was preceded in death by her husband Virgil Dean; Betty Clevenger, Louis
and Ivan Dugan, Cleo and Lucille Clevenger, Shelby and Maggie Clevenger, Paul
Dugan, Ted Davis, Carolyn Noga, Jim and Hazel Davis.
Wilma is survived by a sister Mary Wanda Dugan, brother-in-law Don and Joanne
Davis, sister-in-law Virginia Hedrick and sister-in-law June Davis; a host of
nieces, nephews and other caring relatives.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Eisenhour Cemetery following the
visitation. Visitation for Wilma will be Saturday, July 16, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. to
11:00 A.M. in Barnes Family Funeral Home, Ozark, Missouri.
